In June 2026, Paani installed 551 water wells across Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing clean water to 41,220 people. Alongside the wells, the team ran a medical camp that treated 295 patients, supported 90 students at Aisha Academy in Nowshera, built a community mosque, and constructed a shelter for a vulnerable widow. In total, this month's work reached 41,605 people directly across 8 districts.

Clean Water

Of the 551 wells built this month, 438 were normal handpump wells, 112 were deep wells, and 1 was a solar-powered water well. Handpump wells were installed across Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Sanghar, Khairpur Mirs, Umerkot, and Tharparkar in Sindh, along with District Nowshera in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Together these systems now provide 41,220 people with reliable access to safe drinking water, reducing waterborne illness and cutting the time families spend traveling to collect water.

Healthcare

Paani's medical camp this month treated 295 patients, providing general consultations, basic health screenings, free medicines, and health education sessions. For many families in these districts, this camp was their only access to medical care this month.

Education

Aisha Academy in District Nowshera continued supporting 90 students from low-income families this month, providing a safe and consistent learning environment and helping close the education gap for children who would otherwise have limited access to schooling.

Community Infrastructure

This month Paani completed a community mosque, giving families a permanent space for worship and social gathering, and built a shelter for a widow who otherwise had nowhere safe to live. Both projects reflect Paani's commitment to supporting the full range of needs in the communities it serves, not just water access.

Every project this month was documented with photos and verified on the ground before being reported back to donors. This is what your donation makes possible.
